In this role, you will lead a team of Service O&M Supervisors, oversee subcontractors and warranty obligations, and ensure consistent execution of service activities aligned with contractual, safety, and commercial requirements. You will act as a key customer interface, drive regional performance against agreed service metrics, and collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project handovers, operational readiness, and continuous improvement across the service portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop Service O&M Supervisors, ensuring safe, consistent, and high‑quality service execution across all sites.
- Own the execution of LTSAs, ensuring contractual scope, performance obligations, and commercial alignment across the regional portfolio.
- Act as the primary customer interface for service operations, managing relationships, expectations, and escalations to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Drive regional service performance against agreed KPIs, including system availability, safety metrics, and effective use of digital and AI‑enabled service tools, ensuring robust root cause analysis for major or recurring issues.
- Plan regional operations by allocating resources, balancing workloads (including through team rotation during weekend, holidays), and coordinating service activities to drive operational efficiency.
- Manage customer and OEM warranty obligations, including claims, extensions, and resolution of complex warranty‑related topics.
- Lead subcontractor selection and onboarding, supporting RFQs, proposal evaluations, and contract negotiations.
- Oversee subcontractor performance across the region, ensuring compliance with contracts, SLAs, KPIs, and safety requirements.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and operational requirements across all countries of operation, proactively identifying and addressing gaps.
- Take commercial ownership of service delivery, ensuring additional works are correctly quoted, billed, and collected, while supporting upsell opportunities.
- Address complex customer and subcontractor issues by applying LTSA and O&M contract clauses and proactively closing contractual ambiguities.
- Collaborate with Delivery, Sales, OEMs, and customers to ensure smooth project handovers and operational readiness at the start of commercial operation.
- Support the Services Director in implementing regional service strategy, cost control, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure timely escalation, prioritisation, and resolution of operational issues through internal ticketing and incident‑management tools.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience leading service, operations, or O&M teams in a regional or multi‑site environment.
- Experience managing LTSAs, O&M contracts, or long‑term service agreements for complex assets.
- Strong commercial and financial understanding, including cost control, warranty management, and contractual alignment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including customer‑facing leadership.
- Fluency in English.
- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel regionally as required.
Additional Skills and Experience:
- Experience with Battery Energy Storage Systems, renewable energy assets, or complex industrial systems.
- Familiarity with CMMS, ticketing systems, or digital service platforms.
- Experience managing subcontractors and OEM interfaces across multiple countries.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience handling complex contractual topics or disputes.
- Safety or technical certifications relevant to energy or industrial service environments.
