DescriptionInside Sales Appointment Setter – ION Solar
ION Solar is one of the fastest-growing residential solar companies in the country. Our mission is to help homeowners take control of their energy costs by transitioning to clean, renewable solar power.
Our Inside Sales team plays a critical role in that mission. As an Appointment Setter, your job is to connect with homeowners, spark interest in solar, and schedule consultations for our sales team.

Compensation
- Base Pay: $12/hr
- On-Target Earnings: $45,000/year
- Typical Range: $35,000 – $60,000/year
- High Performers: $50,000 – $90,000+
Income is directly tied to performance and is not capped.
Schedule
- 8-hour shifts
- Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Rotating Saturdays: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- In-office position
Responsibilities
- Call homeowners who have expressed interest in learning about solar
- Introduce the benefits of solar and generate interest
- Qualify prospects and schedule consultations for the sales team
- Confirm upcoming appointments and follow up with homeowners
- Maintain accurate notes and updates in CRM systems
- Work with team members and leadership to continuously improve performance
