We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our Construction Materials Laboratory team. This is an entry-level opportunity with full training provided. Whether you’re new to the

This is a hands-on role working with construction materials such as soil, aggregates, concrete, and recycled products. The position involves physical work, including heavy lifting and working in dusty or dirty environments at times.
The role is primarily based in Chipping Norton, with regular travel to our recycling facilities in Belrose, Unanderra, Smeaton Grange, and Chipping Norton for material sampling.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with preparation and testing of construction materials
- Conduct sampling at various recycling and production sites
- Perform manual handling and lifting of materials
- Maintain accurate data entry and basic reporting
- Follow strict safety, quality, and testing procedures
- Assist with audits and documentation
- General housekeeping and cleaning duties within the laboratory
About you:
- No prior laboratory experience required – full training provided
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual labour and heavy lifting
- Comfortable working in dusty or dirty environments when required
- Hold a current drivers licence
- Reliable, punctual, and safety focused
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office). Strong knowledge in Excel is a bonus
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independately and as part of a team
