Summary
The typical seasonal period for this position is May-November but can be variable during these months due to weather conditions, project needs, or funding. Anticipated Entry on Duty: May 2026 NOTE: OPM has identified this position as eligible for an exception to the typical 1039 hour season. This exception allows up to 1560 hours which may extend the season dates noted above. See additional information section for details.
Major Duties
Read and comprehend blueprints, technical manuals, sketches, building plans and notes which are complex or incomplete requiring extensive knowledge of carpentry, masonry, roofing, concrete, and painting terminology. Ability to understand all safety warning signage (PPE, equipment, vehicles, signs, emails, etc.) Track daily work through work orders generated by a facility management software system, including tracking all hours, materials and equipment. Interpret and/or relay instructions in a team based environment
