Summary
This position is a working leader assigned responsibility for building and utility maintenance work. Incumbent performs the duties and responsibilities of a craftsman in the maintenance, preservation, and construction operations of the park including historic structures, buildings and other park facilities and physical resources.
Major Duties
The Work Leader directs employees in the performance of executing scheduled preventive maintenance inspections, & corrective maintenance of electrical, HVAC, utility system repairs, mechanical, and plumbing maintenance in the Arch Visitor Center, the Ranger Station, Grounds, Old Court House, and north and south overlooks throughout the busy season and the year to perform preventive maintenance and respond to issues. Cut-off Dates: This is an open continuous announcement, in which applications are collected over several months, and have multiple cut-off dates. Applications received by the initial cutoff date will be considered first. **INITIAL CUT OFF IS Monday, December 29, 2025** Applications will be considered throughout the open period of the announcement however additional referral certificates will only be issued when a hiring official exhausts current certificate and/or additional vacancies need to be filled.
