Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership & Quality Assurance:

Take accountability for the technical quality, accuracy, and consistency of all modelling deliverables

Define, maintain, and continuously improve modelling standards, methodologies, and QA/QC processes
<\/div>
Review, approve, and sign off on modelling outputs, reports, and client submissions
<\/div>
Act as the escalation point for complex or non -standard modelling challenges
<\/div>

Advanced Performance Modelling & Strategic Application:
<\/div>
Lead the development and review of advanced performance models across diverse building typologies
<\/div>
Apply advanced building physics principles to complex sustainability challenges
<\/div>
Interpret modelling results to provide high -level strategic advice to clients and project teams
<\/div>
Ensure modelling outputs align with certification, regulatory, and client performance objectives
<\/div>

Client & Stakeholder Engagement:
<\/div>
Act as a trusted technical advisor in client meetings and external engagements
<\/div>
Build and maintain strong relationships with certification bodies and industry stakeholders
Support proposals, tenders, and business development through technical input and presentations<\/div>

People Leadership & Development:
<\/div>
Lead, mentor, and develop Modelling Consultants and Junior Modelling Consultants
<\/div>
Allocate work, review outputs, and provide structured technical and performance feedback
<\/div>
Identify training needs and support career development planning

Provide input into performance reviews, resourcing, and progression decisions
<\/div>

Strategy, Innovation & Continuous Improvement:

Drive innovation in modelling approaches, tools, workflows, and service offerings

Lead internal discussions on emerging industry trends and technologies

Contribute to company -wide technical strategy and operational improvement initiatives

Support marketing, thought leadership, and knowledge -sharing activities

Requirements<\/h3>
Education:<\/span>
<\/div>Bachelor’s degree in a specialisation within the Built Environment<\/span>
<\/div>Mechanical Engineering Degree / Master’s Degree in specialisation within the Built Environment (advantageous)<\/span>

Experience:<\/span>
<\/div>+5 years in the Green Building Industry <\/span>
<\/div>+5 years’ experience in Green Building Modelling & Simulation<\/span>
<\/div><\/div>
Other: <\/span>
<\/div>Advanced proficiency in green building and performance modelling tools (e.g. DesignBuilder) <\/span>
<\/div>Strong understanding of building physics and energy efficiency principles <\/span>
<\/div>Experience modelling a range of building types, including new build, existing buildings, interiors, precincts, and Net Zero projects <\/span>
<\/div>Advanced proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides)<\/span>
