Our client is seeking a seasoned Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design, development, and implementation of complex electrical systems. This role is a blend of high-level technical execution and strategic mentorship. You will be the technical authority on multi-disciplinary projects, ensuring that all designs are innovative, safe, and compliant with the latest industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Design & Architecture: Lead the conceptual and detailed design of electrical systems (HV/MV/LV), including power distribution, control systems, and renewable energy integration (BESS/solar).
- Project Leadership: Manage the full project lifecycle, from initial feasibility studies and load calculations to final commissioning and site handover.
- Quality Assurance: Review and approve electrical deliverables, including schematics, single-line diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Mentorship: Supervise and mentor junior and intermediate engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
- Inter-disciplinary Coordination: Collaborate with mechanical, structural, and software teams to ensure seamless system integration.
- Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging technologies, such as AI-enabled design tools and smart grid integration, to improve engineering workflows.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: 8–12+ years of progressive experience in electrical engineering (industrial, commercial, or utility-scale).
- Professional Status: Professional Engineer (PE) or Pr Eng registration is highly preferred/required.
- Software Mastery: Proficient in AutoCAD Electrical, Revit, ETAP, MATLAB, or Digisilent.
- Technical Depth: Extensive knowledge of power system protection, circuit design, and EMI/EMC standards.
- Soft Skills: Strong leadership, negotiation, and client-facing communication skills.
