About SucSEED
SucSEED is the Investment Manager of SEBI-regulated SucSEED Indovation Fund, an AIF Category-I Venture Capital Fund. We partner with ambitious founders and build long-term institutional platforms in India’s early-stage ecosystem. We have also set up a Fund Management Entity in GIFT City Gujarat to launch our Fund-III in USD denomination.

About the Role
The Management Fellowship is a structured 12-month program designed to develop future investment professionals through hands-on exposure to the venture capital lifecycle.The Fellow will work closely with the investment and portfolio team across sector research, deal sourcing, investment analysis, and portfolio value creation.
This Fellowship concentrates on DeepTech domains including Aerospace, Spacetech, Aviation Logistics, Advanced Mobility, Drones, EV Vehicles, IOT temperature controlled Supply chain, , and Sustainable Infrastructure, sectors where technological differentiation, regulatory depth, and execution complexity create durable value. We focus on commercially deployable subspaces such as satellite data/software and ground systems in spacetech, robotics automation, mobility platforms, and semiconductor-enabled compute infrastructure (data centres, AI grids, sustainable AI infra).
The Fellowship is designed as a fast-track pathway into venture investing, aimed at nurturing high-potential early-career talent who can transition into long-term investment roles within the fund.
Job Mandate and Key Responsibilities
1) Buy-side Sectoral Research and Deal Discovery:

Conduct structured primary and secondary research across aerospace/spacetech, Aviation Logistics, advanced mobility, Drones, EV Vehicles, IOT temperature controlled Supply chain, sustainable infrastructure, and compute infrastructure, prioritising asset-light, tech-heavy models with shorter commercialisation cycles and clear buyer paths aligned to the fund’s thesis.

Map end-to-end value chains and technology stacks across: spacetech software layers (satellite data applications, vertical analytics, ground-segment/network management, secure satcom/positioning augmentation, mission operations tooling), mobility platforms (OEM/enterprise-facing software + operating layers), and sustainability + compute enablement (data centres/AI grids, efficiency layers, and the power/cooling/reliability stack driving deployable sustainable AI infrastructure).

Track buyer ecosystems, procurement dynamics, and regulatory pathways across aerospace, enterprise/OEM mobility, and sustainable AI infrastructure, translating signals into whitespace opportunities and actionable theses focused on repeatable deployments and measurable ROI.

Work with sectoral curators to translate market signals into sector roadmaps, sector reports, and internal thesis documents driving clear sub-sector prioritisation and deal-screening lenses that align deal discovery with evolving fund priorities.

Represent the fund at relevant industry forums building operator and policy relationships, maintaining an active network of ecosystem stakeholders, and continuously refining SucSEED’s sector roadmap and discovery pipeline.

Represent the fund across the ecosystem by attending relevant forums, building operator relationships, and strengthening partnerships with incubators and sourcing channels (e.g., IITM, IIITH, IITB - SINE, IIMB and other accelerators) to continuously refine SucSEED’s sourcing roadmap and real-time discovery pipeline across inbound and outbound opportunities.

Source, Filter and screen opportunities and engage with founders to understand the product, problem statement, and differentiation.

2) Investment Mgmt & Deal Execution

Conduct deep-dive deal analysis by reviewing product capabilities, market size, competitive landscape, unit economics, GTM, and business projections to support a clear investment recommendation.

Draft and refine investment memos that synthesize diligence into a decision-ready case (opportunity, thesis fit, risks, mitigants, and key open questions) to enable IC discussions and approvals.

Coordinate inputs from founders, sectoral curators, and internal stakeholders to ensure memos capture the most salient insights and are delivered on time within defined scope and timelines.

Support post-IC deal execution by coordinating transaction workstreams (term-sheet iterations, documentation checklists, data-room readiness, and stakeholder follow-ups) to help drive timely closure.
Outcome: High-quality investment analysis and timely closure of deals
3) Thought Leadership, Value Creation and Community

Contribute to the development and publishing of new assets / IP, thought capital & POVs, raising the profile of the team & the PortCos leading to demand generation.

Create a Community of various stakeholders (Incubators, Accelerators, Funds, Regulators, Institutions, Curators Investors, Corporations, etc) to create value in that sector and leverage them effectively to conduct Sectoral Research and design fund roadmap.

You’ll get the exposure to handle responsibilities by working closely on Investor Relationship (retail, institutional and Family offices)

Work on Events and Collaborations to create better outreach, and create sell-side opportunities towards exits and work on Marketing and Communication strategy to have better brand recall with the external world at every level and help our Portfolio companies with various Partnership outreach.
Outcome: Increased fund and portfolio visibility that drives stronger ecosystem relationships, investor momentum, and qualified inbound demand.
4) Portfolio Management & Value Creation / Scaling of PortCos

Work with the Portfolio Manager to Track & report on key performance metrics to senior management. You will be expected to conduct in-depth benchmarking of valuation & operational metrics (vs. peer groups), and learn how other analyses could be helpful in Early-stage investments.

Help the Portfolio Manager to Identify Clients, Partners & Investors who can bring value towards the growth of our PortCos, with regular engagements through Portfolio Showcases.
Outcome: Stronger portfolio performance visibility and stakeholder engagement enabling better decisions, stronger investor communication, and higher-value partnerships for PortCo growth.*
5) Sell-side Sectoral Research & Create Exits

Support day-to-day execution of complex engagements with CorpDev/client teams and Private Equity stakeholders across pre-deal, deal execution, and value-creation/scaling phases for portfolio companies.

Contribute to sell-side sector deep dives by researching themes and comparables, producing sector reports/POVs, and supporting portfolio exit roadmaps (buyer mapping, positioning, timing signals) to enable value realization.

Assist in identifying and converting client opportunities by building and nurturing relationships with global PE/M&A leadership, client account teams, and key PE/corporate stakeholders across geographies to strengthen deal flow and partnership pipelines.

Contribute to developing new assets/IP, thought capital, and POVs that raise the profile of the team and portfolio companies and support demand generation.
Outcome: Accelerated portfolio value creation and exits through stronger execution support, sharper sector positioning, and expanded PE/M&A relationship-driven partnerships
Program Structure

Ideal Candidate Profile (ICP)

Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, Business, or a related field, with 0–3 years of professional or relevant internship experience.

Early-career professionals evaluating venture capital as a long-term career path, including those considering MBA programs in the next 12–24 months.

Prior exposure to Automobile Industry, Aviation Sector, Drone or logistics businesses, with an understanding of end-to-end product lifecycles and sector-specific commercial realities (long sales cycles, procurement-led buying, compliance/safety requirements, and partner/channel-led GTM) will be an added advantage

Exposure in DeepTech, infrastructure, industrials, hardware products will be an added advantage.

Strong foundation in business, finance, and accounting, with prior full-time or internship experience in analytical work across market research, business analysis, financial modelling, strategy, or related roles preferred.
