Design residential and commercial solar energy systems. Create plans for system development, monitoring, and evaluation activities.
- Create preliminary solar designs for initial customer presentations using Aurora and/or Scanifly(Drone Experience Desirable).
- Design photovoltaic (PV) systems, including fixed tilt, ground‐mounted, and carport solar PV systems, for residential and commercial buildings.
- Prepare energy models and conceptual design deliverables in support of business development and new product/vendor integration.
- Update customer proposals in Excel with relevant system design information.
- Work with project team to execute projects on time and on budget.
- Review specifications and recommend engineering or manufacturing changes to achieve solar design objectives.
- Recommend technical design or process changes to improve efficiency, quality, or performance.
- Perform computer simulation of solar photovoltaic (PV) generation system performance or energy production to optimize efficiency.
- Other functions as necessary or as assigned.
