Now, we're looking for a like-minded technician to join our Denver, CO team as a 1099 Residential Thermal Solar R&R Contractor! This is an on-call position where you'll come in as needed to support removal and replacement projects throughout the Denver Front Range. What You'll Be Doing:
Our Residential Solar R&R Contractor is in charge of safely removing and reinstalling solar PV and thermal panel systems during our roof replacement projects. You'll come in as needed, follow all safety precautions, and work with the crew to meet production and quality targets. During jobs, you'll properly drain, disconnect, label, and protect all PV modules, thermal collectors, and system components. You'll make sure all electrical and thermal connections are watertight and perform final system inspections to make sure everything is installed properly and works perfectly.
RESIDENTIAL THERMAL SOLAR R&R CONTRACTOR CRITERIA:
- 3+ years of residential solar R&R experience with demonstrated exposure to thermal panel systems
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- General liability insurance, workers' compensation (or valid exemption), and commercial auto insurance
- Ability to travel to projects throughout the Denver Front Range
Preferred Qualifications:
- Plumbing or mechanical experience related to thermal systems
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical PV systems
- NABCEP Certification and/or Colorado Journeyman license
