Summary:
North American Renewables, Inc. (NAR) is seeking a skilled and motivated Assistant Project Manager. The Assistant Project Manager supports the planning, coordination, and execution of renewable energy construction projects, including solar farms, wind installations, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and EV infrastructure. This role assists with managing schedules, budgets, procurement, documentation, and communication to help ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in planning and executing renewable energy construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.

Support Project Managers with scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking.

Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, and field teams to ensure project milestones are achieved.

Help manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and overall project documentation.

Attend project meetings and assist with preparing agendas, meeting minutes, and progress reports.

Support compliance with safety standards, quality expectations, and contract requirements.

Assist with procurement of materials and equipment in coordination with project and purchasing teams.

Maintain organized project files, logs, and tracking systems.

Participate in site visits to monitor progress and help resolve field-related issues.
Minimum Qualifications & Skills

1–3 years of experience in construction or renewable energy project coordination.

Familiarity with solar, wind, or battery energy storage projects is a plus.

Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.

Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Willingness to travel to job sites as required.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field preferred.
