Overview
As a Recruiter for University & Partnership Programs, you will act as a trusted advisor to both internal teams and external partners. You will lead the full lifecycle strategy, processes, and relationships needed to attract and hire top talent from priority universities and partner organizations, ensuring Scout Motors meets its immediate and future workforce needs.
This role blends execution with strategy—balancing speed, quality, and experience—while helping build the teams that will power a new era for an iconic American brand.

What you’ll do
Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:
- Build and manage strategic relationships with universities, colleges, technical schools, alumni associations, and student organizations
- Design and execute campus recruiting strategies to support hiring for:
- Plan, coordinate, and attend events including career fairs, info sessions, networking events, and classroom engagements (in-person and virtual)
- Partner closely with hiring managers, recruiters, and the Talent Acquisition Leadership Team to understand hiring needs and collaboratively deliver hiring results
- Source, screen, and engage candidates for internships, co-ops, and entry-level and professional level roles
- Serve as a brand ambassador for Scout Motors on campus, delivering an inclusive and compelling candidate experience
- Effectively manage candidate communication, interview coordination, and offer support
- Maintain accurate data and reporting within the applicant tracking system (ATS)
- Track and analyze campus recruiting performance, pipeline health, and conversion metrics
Location & Travel Expectations:
- This role may be based out of the Scout Motors corporate headquarters in Charlotte, NC. This role may be remote to start but will transition to an in-office setting at the headquarters within 3-6 months of start date. This role is not eligible for remote work in New York City.
- This role requires 4-5 days per week in the office, with regular in-person meetings and events.
- Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.
- Travel: Required approximately 30% of the time. Valid driver's license required.

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Engineering, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in campus recruiting, university relations, or talent acquisition programs
- Proven experience building relationships with universities, career centers, and student organizations
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-management skills
- Ability to effectively manage multiple recruiting programs and priorities simultaneously
- Comfort engaging with diverse audiences, including students, faculty, alumni, and senior leaders
- Willingness to travel up to 40% locally and regionally to support hiring events as needed, especially during campus recruiting seasons
- A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset—comfortable identifying gaps, escalating appropriately, and improving how work gets done.
- Minimum of High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required for all roles at Scout Motors, Inc.
- Ability and willingness to travel as required, approximately 30% of the time.

Pay Transparency
This is a full-time, exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.
Initial base salary range = $90,000.00 - $112,500.00
