Reporting to the Operation Project Manager, you will be part of the Environmental Department. You will organize, prepare, and manage the required documentation to ensure good environmental practices are being followed for the team in terms of site inspections, water monitoring, spills, waste, wildlife management and as well as new environmental projects. You will also ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
Be the single point of contact for water management matters to ensure studies, engineering, construction, commissioning and start-up of water management systems are aligned in terms of quality and schedule with our License to Operate;
Ensure liaisons with other departments (mainly for water and tailings management, mine development, construction, water quality forecast, annual report);
