Designation -Safety officer - Roof top Solar
Work Location- Pan India (Base location will be AHMEDABAD, GUJARAT)
Work Experience- 2+ Years
Qualification- BE/B.TECH /DIPLOMA ENGINEERING OR BSC in Safety field+ ADIS or PDIS or Safety diploma approved by state technical board.
Salary Range – UPTO 4 LPA
Roles & Responsibilities:

Monitor and enforce safety regulations and procedures on site during solar power plant Installation and Commissioning. Conduct regular safety audits and site inspections to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.

Develop, implement and maintain safety plans, risk assessment and method statement specific to solar installation activities (E.g. Electrical work, working at height, Lifting operations).

Deliver safety induction, Toolbox talk (TBT) to workers and vendors. Provide training and guidance to workers on safe work practices, fall protection, electrical safety, and emergency procedures.

Ensure use of Personal protective equipment (PPEs) by all personnel on site.

Investigate incidents, near misses and accidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions.

Maintain safety documentation and ensure compliance with local EHS laws and regulations.

Coordinate emergency drills and first aid procedures. Inspect scaffolding, ladders, harnesses, anchoring systems, and other safety equipment to ensure compliance.

Liaise with project managers, site engineers, and subcontractors on EHS matters. Ensure all permits (work at height, hot work, lifting work, etc.) are in place and strictly adhered to.

Coordinate with clients during site inspections or audits. Report any unsafe conditions, incidents, or non-compliance and follow up with corrective actions.

Preferred: Experience in renewable energy or solar installation projects.Familiarity with fall arrest systems, and rooftop work protocols. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
