For our legal team in Madrid, Spain, we are currently looking for an Intern to join us in Madrid. In this role, you will be reporting to our Senior Legal Counsel and supporting the legal team in the EMEA region.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supporting the legal department in all relevant legal matters, in particularcivil law and international commercial law
- Assisting with the day-to-day business of the legal department and current international projects.
- Preparing and maintaining court files, contract documents and contract documentation, including archiving in Spanish and English
- Conducting legal research on all relevant legal issues
- Maintaining document management
- Cross-functional project work
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE
Degree in international law or related
Fundamental understanding & interest in international law and commercial law
Excellent knowledge of MS Office
Interest in developing AI tools
COMPETENCIES NEEDED TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE
Strong Teamwork together with intercultural skills
Organised with an eye for detail
Accountability and eagerness to learn
Able to work 20 hours per week
LANGUAGES
Fluency in English both written and spoken
Fluency in Spanish both written and spoken
Other languages will be an advantage
