The Opportunity
Your Impact Starts Here – You’ll be part of our growing Air Quality Modelling & Greenhouse Gas team, applying your expertise to assessments that inform the design and delivery of major infrastructure projects across Ontario and beyond. You’ll work in a hybrid environment, collaborating with multidisciplinary experts and contributing to some of the most complex and meaningful projects within our Earth & Environmental business.
Your Impact
- Apply your expertise to prepare emission summary and dispersion modelling reports supporting Ontario ECA and EASR submissions, land‑use compatibility assessments, permitting and compliance documentation.
- Deliver air quality studies, data‑driven modelling, and GHG inventories that influence decisions on high‑impact infrastructure projects.
- Contribute to multidisciplinary proposal teams, helping shape winning strategies and clearly defining technical approaches.
- Produce accurate, client‑ready deliverables that help advance project design, permitting, and environmental approvals.
- Support and mentor junior air quality professionals, fostering technical excellence and knowledge sharing.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external clients, ensuring needs are understood and met through your guidance and expertise.
- Bring forward ideas that help innovate, improve modelling approaches, and elevate the team’s technical capabilities.
The Skills That Set You Apart
- A university degree (or equivalent experience) in Engineering or relevant Sciences with approximately 5–10 years of experience in the air quality field.
- Hands‑on experience preparing regulatory submissions, modelling reports, and technical assessments for environmental projects.
- Proficiency with AERMOD, CALPUFF, MOVES, CAL3QHCR and related tools used for emissions and dispersion modelling.
- Ability to navigate complex, multi‑tasking consulting environments while delivering high‑quality work.
- Strong capability with the MS Office suite to support reporting, analysis, and documentation.
- A collaborative mindset and genuine enthusiasm for advancing environmental outcomes through high‑impact project work.

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $80,800 – $107,000
MB & ON: $73,700 – $101,500
NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $73,000 – $96,900
