Enlight Renewable Energy is a leading publicly traded Israeli company, operating in Israel and across global markets. Enlight Local, a subsidiary of Enlight, specializes in the initiation, development, construction, and operation of renewable energy generation and energy storage projects located close to centers of consumption and demand.
We are seeking a Director of Business Development to lead ongoing engagement with partners and business customers, manage sales processes, and identify new business opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Identifying business opportunities, conducting market research and analysis and establishing relationships with potential customers.
- Managing and leading sales processes and commercial negotiations with a variety of customers, including M&A activities (energy generation, storage, and green electricity supply) from planning stages through contract closure.
- Comprehensive site analysis and mapping, including statutory planning, Land use designations, master plans, and etc.
- Ongoing collaboration with partners and business clients to maximize the value of joint activities.
Requirements:
- Proven experience leading end-to-end B2B sales processes, from lead generation to contract closure – advantage.
- Background in defining and developing business models (including financial analysis) and product development – advantage.
- Experience working with municipal authorities – advantage.
- Experience leading M&A processes in large companies – advantage.
- Demonstrated high level sales capabilities, including negotiations with senior executives.
- Experience in the energy sector (especially renewable energy) – advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, service oriented mindset, assertiveness and strong ability for independent management and learning.
- Broad business and commercial understanding.
- High level English proficiency – mandatory.
- Strong proficiency in Excel ,PowerPoint – significant advantage.
- Ability to work effectively in a team, under pressure and meet challenging deadlines.
