Site Coordinator – E&I (Electrical & Instrumentation)
About the Project
We are supporting a large sustaining capital program on a major iron ore operation in Western Australia. The scope includes ongoing electrical and instrumentation construction works delivered under an established site execution team, with long-term work remaining.
About the Role
The Site Coordinator – E&I will report to the E&I Superintendent and support day-to-day coordination of E&I construction activities on site. The role interfaces closely with contractors, engineering, QA/QC, and commissioning to ensure works are executed safely, to standard, and in line with schedule.
Key Responsibilities

Coordinate E&I construction activities across multiple contractor work fronts.

Monitor contractor compliance with approved scopes, specifications, and technical standards.

Manage permit-to-work, isolations, and interface coordination with operations.

Review and manage ITPs, ITRs, quality documentation, and inspection records.

Support constructability reviews, work planning, and sequencing.

Liaise with engineering and commissioning teams to resolve technical queries and site issues.

Track progress, identify constraints, and escalate risks to the E&I Superintendent.

Ensure all works comply with site HSE, statutory, and quality requirements.
Skills & Experience

Electrical trade or engineering background.

Demonstrated E&I coordination or supervisory experience on large construction projects.

Experience working within EPCM or Tier 1 contractor delivery models.

Strong understanding of HV/LV systems, switchgear, MCCs, and instrumentation.

Experience with permit-to-work systems and contractor management.

Ability to coordinate multiple contractors in an active construction environment.
Roster / Location: 2:1 FIFO roster, site-based in Western Australia
Duration: 12+ months remaining
Rate: $118.53/hr inclusive of superannuation
