DescriptionThe Logistics Operations Coordinator will oversee the daily dispatch cycle, ensuring that vehicles are correctly positioned, drivers are well-informed, and all legal documentation is in order prior to transit. This role is critical for maintaining a seamless operational flow between the warehouse and the transport network.
Key Responsibilities
- Precision Vehicle Alignment: Oversee the strategic positioning and preparation of all vehicles for scheduled routes to optimize loading efficiency and maintain continuous operational flow.
- Driver Coordination & Dispatch: Serve as the central point of contact for drivers, managing shift schedules and providing real-time instructions to guarantee on-time departures and arrivals.
- Systematic Document Handover: Manage the secure transfer of essential transit paperwork, including manifests, vehicle logs, and compliance documents, ensuring drivers are fully equipped before every trip.
- Operational Compliance: Audit and verify that all outgoing drivers possess the necessary permits, licenses, and safety instructions to meet both regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Candidate Requirements
- Qualification: Must be a Graduate in any stream.
- Experience: 2–3 years of experience in logistics, fleet management, or warehouse operations.
- Language Proficiency: Must be fluent in English, Tamil, and Hindi to effectively communicate with a diverse pool of transporters and drivers.
- Tools & Mobility: Must possess a personal two-wheeler (bike/scooter) for operational needs.
- Location: Candidates must be local residents, preferably residing near the designated workstation for quick response and accessibility.
