Your role in our shared journey
Located at our EMEA headquarters in Hoofddorp, near Amsterdam, you'll contribute to our mission by bringing ASICS’ Sound Mind, Sound Body philosophy to life in the physical world, designing spaces that balance innovation, functionality, and emotional resonance.
As a Global Senior Brand Environment Designer, you will support ASICS’ Global Creative Services team in translating our retail and experiential design vision into tangible environments across DTC, wholesale, Showrooms, Offices and event spaces.
Your role will be instrumental in weaving the fabric of our movement, bringing unique perspectives and driving innovation with every step.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Ensuring that creative concepts are fully developed into executable global guidelines and playbooks that enable consistent regional rollout.
- Working hands-on with 2D/3D design tools.
- Leading creative agencies, and developing fixture, and material solutions that ensure global brand consistency while enabling regional adaptation.
- Supporting the creation and maintenance of ASICS’ Global Retail Design Guidelines, fixture systems, and materials library, ensuring the seamless execution of our brand across every consumer touchpoint.
- Co-creating and visualising the Global Retail Experience Playbook and related toolkits in partnership with the Project Manager, ensuring clarity and creative excellence.
You have the following skills:
- 5-6 years’ experience in store or retail design within a premium, lifestyle, or sporting goods brand environment
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or Retail Design
- Excellent 2D/3D design skills (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, Revit, Enscape, or similar)
- Demonstrated experience translating global creative frameworks into technical design packages
- Strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual and technical design skills across different retail formats
- Strong understanding of consumer experience design, brand environments, and the integration of digital and physical touchpoints
- Experience in value engineering, vendor management, and budget optimisation for design and build projects
