DescriptionJob Purpose:
To drive continuous improvement across internal processes within the solar organisation, focusing on project management, site operations, design, safety, and procurement. The role will spearhead the design and implementation of Project Management Information System (PMIS) tools, monitor project financials, and proactively resolve operational backlogs to ensure project profitability aligns with company expectations.
Process Improvement & Governance
- Analyse and optimise workflows across project management, site execution, design, safety, and procurement teams.
- Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) aligned with ISO standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
PMIS Implementation & improvement
- Lead the design, deployment, and training of PMIS tools to enhance project visibility, scheduling, and reporting.
- Ensure system integration with licensing, procurement, and financial modules.
- Act as the key liaison between technical teams and end-users to ensure successful adoption.
Project Monitoring & Backlog Resolution
- Track and highlight critical activities with delays or backlogs.
- Escalate unresolved issues to Project Managers and intervene directly when necessary.
- Maintain dashboards and trackers to monitor progress and accountability.
Financial Oversight
- Monitor project cash flow, cost, and profitability.
- Ensure financial performance meets company expectations and budget targets.
- Support forecasting and cost control efforts in collaboration with Finance and Project Owners.
Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
- Experience in solar project execution will be added advantage.
- Familiarity with PMIS and ERP platforms will be added advantages
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
