DescriptionThe Forklift Driver will play a critical role in the efficient handling of materials within our warehouse. This position requires a proactive individual who can ensure the safe and effective operation of forklifts and other material handling equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials safely and efficiently.
- Accurately follow instructions for handling and storing materials to prevent damage and maintain quality.
- Conduct pre-operational checks on forklifts and report any mechanical issues for timely maintenance.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Assist in maintaining an organized and clean warehouse or site area.
- Collaborate with warehouse personnel to streamline operations and improve productivity.
- Complete necessary paperwork for incoming and outgoing materials.
Requirements - Possess a valid forklift license or certification.
- At least 1–2 years of experience in operating forklifts in a warehouse or construction environment.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and material handling procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects when necessary.
