Position Overview:
The Occupational Therapist - Hand Therapist is a skilled professional who has completed an accredited occupational therapy education program and is licensed in the State of Illinois. The Hand Therapist provides specialized evaluation and treatment for patients with conditions affecting the hand, wrist, elbow, and upper extremity. Services include assessment, treatment planning, therapeutic interventions, custom orthotic fabrication, patient and family education, and discharge planning. Care is provided across the lifespan, from pediatrics through geriatrics, to restore function, reduce pain, prevent disability, and promote independence in activities of daily living.

Education Qualifications:
- Required: Graduate of occupational therapy program from accredited school, with a degree in Occupational Therapy
Certification Qualifications:
- Required: Must possess and maintain a current State of Illinois Occupational Therapist license
- Required: Current Basic Life Support (AHA or American Red Cross BLS) certification
- Preferred: Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential
Experience Qualifications:
- Previous experience preferred

Pay Range:
- The pay range for this position is $37.77 - 56.66 per hour.
