You as a Corporate HSE Coordinator will support the team in several areas including, but not limited to:
- Collaborate with the HSE team to analyze, monitor, follow-up and support the implementation of HSE programs and initiatives.
- Manage the subcontractor HSE prequalification process, including liaising with project teams and subcontractors to resolve documentation gaps.
- Maintain 3rd party HSE monitoring sites and complete client HSE prequalification requests.
- Assist in the development, review, and updating of the corporate Health & Safety program.
- Maintain and manage HSE tools, documents and data.
- Maintain the corporate HSE legal registry.
- Prepare and distribute hazard alerts, toolbox talks, safety bulletins and other communication material.
Is this role right for you?
- Bachelors degree or diploma/certificate in Health & Safety or related field
- 3-5 years of related experience in health & safety.
- Experience with HSE prequalification & 3rd party monitoring systems is an asset.
- Understanding of HSE management systems and legislation.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) and a technical aptitude.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an emphasis on organization and attention to detail to meet deadlines while managing multiple priorities.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced corporate environment.
