Senior SIEM-specialist – National Security Delivery (NSD)
To better serve security authorities in strengthening their cybersecurity capabilities, DNV Cyber has established the National Security Delivery (NSD) unit. NSD provides a comprehensive range of cybersecurity services tailored to the needs of governmental and critical infrastructure customers.
We are looking for experienced SIEM-specialist with passion to implement and orchestrate technical solutions to join our team.
This is a hands-on position requiring a combination of technical expertise and strong documentation skills. The SIEM Specialist will act as a trusted advisor to clients, assisting them in strengthening their security posture, mitigating risks, and ensuring compliance with industry and national standards. Responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders to design, implement, and maintain comprehensive security frameworks tailored to specific organizational needs and environments.

QualificationsTechnical Requirements
- Practical experience in maintaining and integrating Linux environments, as well as implementing them
- Skills in scripting and orchestration tools (Bash, Python, Ansible, SaltStack, Puppet, Chef)
- Experience with the deploying of SIEM products and log management applications (e.g., Splunk, Elastic, IBM QRadar), including planning, maintenance, or development of deployments
- Understanding of computer networks, including firewalls, switches, etc.
Beneficial Experience and Skills
- Experience working with network sensors
- Experience working in air-gapped environments
- Experience in security-classified environments
- Experience in designing, developing, documenting, maintaining, or managing system architecture and/or network architecture
- Ability to train the customer’s specialists
- Experience with hardening and related standards (CIS, Katakri, NIST, etc.)
- Experience with environments classified under the Finnish national security classification system (TL IV – TL II)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or equivalent professional experience.
- Fluency in Finnish and English
- Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to work independently and drive projects to successful completion.
- Effective team collaboration skills
This position is full-time, and you can work from any of our locations in Espoo, Turku or Jyväskylä. We are flexible with remote work whenever possible. Due to the nature of the role and customers, we require Finnish citizenship, strong Finnish language skills, and the ability to pass a standard security clearance. Our corporate language is English.
