Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our manufacturing leadership team as a General Laborer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing operations, physical labor, and the ability to work well in a team environment and ensure the production process has a continuous and steady flow of the production of molded rubber goods. This is a very labor-intensive role that works in all types of weather, moving, lifting, and lacing all types of tires from passenger car to semi-truck tires.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Stack finished products on pallets
- Loading trucks
- Moving, loading, and lacing all forms of tires
- To work in all weather conditions.
- The ability to work as a team
Required Skills/Abilities:
- The plant environment will include, extreme cold and heat (weather related), working near moving mechanical parts.
- Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be loud when in the production area.
- The ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Frequently required to stand for 9 hours a day, walk; use hands to handle or feel, and talk or hear; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, climb or crawl.
Education and Experience:
- 1-2 years’ experience working in an industrial manufacturing operations environment, preferred.
