Annual Salary: EUR 125,000 – EUR 157,000 gross
Your challenges as a Senior Business Development Manager Energy Storage
The Senior Business Development Manager Energy Storage is a strategic leader responsible for driving significant growth in Nobian’s energy storage business. This role focuses on identifying new opportunities, developing and executing growth strategies, and managing key relationships to position Nobian as a market leader in energy storage solutions.
Key responsibilities:
- Creating internal buy-in and managing cross-functional alignment within Nobian and implement strategic business development plans aligned with company goals
- Proactively identify and pursue and develop new business cases including hydrogen and other energy storage solutions
- Conduct in-depth market research to uncover trends, opportunities, and competitive insights
- Lead the sales process from initial contact through to contract negotiation and handover
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders such as commercial energy firms and senior-level government agencies and represent Nobian in industry events, conferences, stakeholder meetings and with governmental and regulatory bodies.

Have you got what it takes
Of course we also ask a lot of you, so you have excellent analytical skills, extensive experience in senior stakeholder management. Furthermore you have:
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in business development, sales, or consultancy within the energy or infrastructure sectors
- A Bachelor’s / Master degree in business, marketing, or a related field, underpinning a strong theoretical and practical understanding of business principles.
- Deep understanding of the European energy storage market and renewable energy trends, including experience with (semi-)government organizations at senior management level
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Fluent in English and German (must)
