Required: Wind Turbine Service Technician

We ARE Renewables is currently recruiting for Wind Turbine Service Technicians to work on offshore windfarms in The Netherlands. In this role you have a broad understanding of Electrical Engineering. In addition, knowledge of mechanics and hydraulics is desirable

As a Service Technician you will be part of a dedicated service team delivering general troubleshooting operations and daily maintenance to an offshore windfarm, mainly electrical work. Your duties and responsibilities as Service Technician include fault diagnosis and trend analysis, excellent service delivery, providing safety and technical reports and maintain documentation.

Requirements:

You have a technical degree in for example electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, aviation, automotive technology;
You hold a valid driver’s license and are in the possession of a car to get to the site
You have a good command of the English language (both verbally and written), Dutch is considered a plus
You are not afraid of heights, you will 150M above sea level
You live 45 minutes from Ijmuiden or are willing to relocate to this area

Direct experience as wind turbine technician is ideal but not required, the company offers specific training and courses to get used to the turbine models plus training & certification to go offshore.

Location: IJmuiden
Contract: direct permanent contract, direct vast contract.
Rotation: 7 days on/ 7 days off, 12h workday: this includes travel time between shore and offshore wind farm.
