The
principal responsibilities and experience anticipated includes:<\/span>
<\/p>
- Candidate
need work on steady state and transient power system studies. It desired
that candidate have experience in specified studies in below points. It
would also be preferred that candidate is having experience of RMS and EMT
modelling.<\/span>
<\/li> - Candidate
need to work on Power System Studies, which includes following minimum
specified studies:<\/span>
<\/li><\/ol> - <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Load Flow studies.<\/span>
<\/p>
- <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Short circuit studies.<\/span>
<\/p>
- <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Protection coordination studies (relay
coordination).<\/span>
<\/p>
- <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Arc flash studies.<\/span>
<\/p>
- <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Power quality studies (Harmonic and Flicker)
studies.<\/span>
<\/p>
- <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Grid compliance studies.<\/span>
<\/p>
- <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Grid impact studies / Grid integration studies /
Power evacuation studies. <\/span><\/span>
<\/p>
- <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Contingency analysis.<\/span>
<\/p>
- <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Insulation coordination studies (including all
switching studies).<\/span>
<\/p>
- <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Stability Studies (specifically for LVRT and HVRT
conditions for renewable plant).<\/span>
<\/p>
- <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Grounding Studies.<\/span>
<\/p>
- <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Cable ampacity studies.<\/span>
<\/p>
- Candidate
shall be proficient in modelling in ETAP and Power factory DigSilent tool.
Candidate having experience in PSSE, EMTP and PSCAD tool is mandatory.<\/span>
<\/li> - Candidate
having experience of modelling of Solar PV Plant, Wind Turbine and BESS
system would be added advantage.<\/span>
<\/li> - Candidate
shall have good report writing skills, presentation and curves preparing
skills.<\/span>
<\/li> - Candidate
having experience in coding, scripting and automation in DSL / PYTHON
would be added advantage.<\/span>
<\/li> - Candidate
shall have experience of updating library as and when required in ETAP /
power factory tool.<\/span>
<\/li> - Candidate
shall have good understanding and application of various countries grid
codes essentially India, Africa and Middle east. Other countries like
North America, Australia and other would be added advantage.<\/span>
<\/li> - Knowledge
of code and standards of IEC, Indian Standard, IEEE, NEC and other
applicable standard which are utilized to perform power system studies.<\/span>
<\/li> - Candidate
having experience Quashi load flow (Power factory DigSilent module) / time
series load flow (ETAP module) studies would be added advantage.<\/span>
<\/li> - Candidate
shall also have experience of manual calculations of reactive power, short
circuit calculation, transformer sizing, CT and PT sizing, Earthing and
lightning protection calculations and protections calculations i.e. unit
and non -unit protection and distance protection.<\/span>
<\/li> - Candidate
having knowledge of HVDC, FACTS devices such as SVC and STATCOM would be
added advantage. <\/span><\/span>
<\/li> - Candidate
having experience of relay setting and harmonic measurement experience at
site would be added advantage. <\/span><\/span>
<\/li> - Candidate
may require to support to Business development activities for e.g.
technical blog preparations, white paper preparations etc.<\/span>
<\/li> - Candidate
shall be able to understand vendor document, protection scheme, Inverter, BESS,
wind turbine. <\/span><\/span>

Requirements<\/h3>
- <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Shall be Accountable for performing assigned tasks
on projects within the scope and schedule an ability to learn new skills.<\/span>
<\/p>
- <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Willingness to travel and stay as per
requirement in India and abroad.<\/span>
<\/p>
- <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Needs to comply with the organizations HSE
commitment.<\/span>
<\/p>
- <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Minimum Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering<\/span>. <\/span>
<\/p>
- <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Candidate have worked in renewable energy projects
(wind, solar and BESS system) specifically power evacuation studies would be
preferred.<\/span>
<\/p>
- <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Candidate having experience of green hydrogen
project application would be added advantage. Candidate have experience of
similar profile in Oil & Gas and Process Industries may also apply.<\/span>
