The Social Sustainability Officer oversees human rights risk management within the supply chain, manages corporate social responsibility (CSR) spending and initiatives, and supports sustainability reporting efforts. The Social Sustainability Officer collaborates with procurement, legal, ESG, and compliance teams, as well as external stakeholders such as NGOs, industry groups, and suppliers. This role supports the company in meeting its obligations under the German Corporate Due Diligence Act (LkSG), the EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD), and other relevant international frameworks. This role is responsible for executing the CSR strategy and driving its initiatives. It requires expertise in human rights due diligence, stakeholder engagement, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance.
