We are seeking a motivated and skilled Research Associate - Battery Materials <\/b><\/span>to join Nexus Power team. The ideal candidate will contribute to cutting -edge research in rechargeable batteries and advanced materials. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects in the fields of <\/span>energy storage materials, focusing on the design, analysis, and application of cutting -edge materials for next -generation rechargeable batteries.<\/span><\/p>
Key Responsibilities<\/span> <\/span> <\/span>
<\/p>
Conduct independent and collaborative research focused on rechargeable batteries.<\/span>
<\/p><\/li>
Innovate in the synthesis, testing, and enhancement of battery materials to achieve superior performance and efficiency.<\/span><\/p><\/li><\/ul><\/ul>
Perform detailed physical characterization using XRD, SEM, EDX, BET, TEM,XPS, TGA/DSC, ICP, FTIR and Raman Spectroscopy of synthesized materials.<\/span>
<\/p><\/li>
Perform detailed Electrochemical characterization using CV, GCD, EIS and GITT techniques. <\/span>
<\/p><\/li>
Analyze and interpret data to assess material properties and optimize cell performance.<\/span>
<\/p><\/li><\/ul><\/ul>
Leverage research findings to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve challenges effectively.<\/span>
<\/p><\/li>
Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for internal reviews and external stakeholders.<\/span>
<\/p><\/li><\/ul><\/ul>
Collaborate with cross -functional teams and industry partners to align research objectives.<\/span>
<\/p><\/li>
Mentor junior researchers or interns, providing guidance on experimental design and analysis.<\/span>

Proven ability to address and resolve complex research challenges.<\/span>

Requirements<\/h3>
Preferred Qualifications<\/span>
<\/p>
<\/p>
Ph.D. in Materials Science, Energy Science and Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Nanotechnology, or related fields.<\/span>
<\/div> OR<\/span>
<\/div><\/p><\/li>
M.Tech/M.Sc. in Materials Science, Energy Science and Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Nanotechnology, or related fields, with a minimum of 2 to 3 years of relevant experience.<\/span>
<\/p><\/li><\/ul><\/ul>
Demonstrated research experience in rechargeable batteries, supported by a thesis or substantial published work.<\/span>
<\/p><\/li><\/ul><\/ul>
Proficient in safety protocols, environmental considerations, and simulation tools for material design and battery performance modeling.
<\/li>Highly analytical, detail -oriented, and self -motivated, with the ability to work independently and within teams.
<\/li>Committed to staying updated on the latest advancements in battery technology and research.
