Key Responsibilities:
System Design and Engineering:
Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments to determine optimal system design.
Develop and optimize PV layouts and electrical schematics.
Select appropriate equipment (e.g., modules, inverters, racking systems) and assess compatibility.
Utilize PV design software (such as PVsyst, AutoCAD, or similar) to model and simulate system performance.
Project Development and Coordination:
Collaborate with project managers, construction teams, and contractors to ensure projects meet deadlines, quality standards, and budget constraints.
Prepare technical documentation, including electrical single-line diagrams, string layouts, and other necessary plans for permits and interconnections.
Oversee project milestones, risk assessments, and engineering compliance with industry standards.
Quality Assurance and Performance Analysis:
Conduct inspections and tests to verify system quality, reliability, and safety.
Monitor system performance post-installation and troubleshoot any issues.
Analyze performance data and make recommendations to improve efficiency and maximize energy production.
Compliance and Safety:
Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations, as well as compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Implement and promote safety protocols on-site and during project execution.
