Job Purpose:
The Senior Sales Executive – Indian Coal will focus on driving sales, achieving targets, and identifying opportunities for business growth. The role requires a hands-on approach to building customer relationships, monitoring market trends, and reporting sales performance.
Job Duties:
- Sales and Marketing:
- Identify and acquire new customers while managing existing accounts.
- Meet sales targets through effective sales planning and execution.
- Market Research:
- Track competitor movements and monitor market trends.
- Collect and analyse customer behaviour and feedback.
- Build a robust customer base and identify opportunities for cross-selling or upselling.
- Business Development:
- Relationship Management:
- Maintain long-term relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- Address customer inquiries and provide timely solutions.
- Sales Performance:
- Monitor and report on sales activities and progress.
- Suggest strategies to improve performance and achieve goals.
Required Qualifications:
- Knowledge: Basic understanding of the Indian coal market and competitor dynamics.
- Skills: Strong sales and negotiation skills.
- Relationship management and client servicing.
- Ability to analyse sales data and present actionable insights.
- Attributes: Target-oriented and self-motivated.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
- Resilient and adaptable to market changes.
- Education: Graduate in any discipline (preferably MBA in Marketing).
- Experience: 2–5 years of experience in sales and in the coal industry.
