Main Responsibilities
• Act as a site representative of Global ACT project in the years 2025~2027 and report to the program leader of CISS directly. Participate in the design and running of the new DISCOVER, Glamour systems, etc. Keep close in touch with global HSE functions and proactively organize and coordinate all project tasks & activities under the leadership of site leader and ensure a successful execution of the project at CISS. Reach out to the site relevant partners on a need base through the project implementation. Keep close eyes onto the CSRD enforcements in European Union. After the project officially launch, continue to contribute in the management of the new SAP system.
• Act as a facilitator of EA/IE (environment aspect / impact evaluation), participate in and lead EA/IE work for operational plant & unit at CISS and APAC sites: to find and avoid potential environmental risks to ensure the best practice with legal compliance; manage the confidential EA/IE document; Make schedule and monitor progress of all EA/IE work.
• Act as a facilitator in performing regular risk assessments of onsite environmental protection assets & facilities. Assist the task leader in planning schedule and monitor progress of all environmental facilities’ risk assessments.
• HSE regulatory affairs caretaker for certain plan at CISS and in charge of the HSE regulatory affairs of the served plants.
• Contribute in daily environmental management tasks, including environmental monitoring, governmental inspections, turnaround management, permits renewal, etc.
• Supporting the project/routine work at CISS in relation to sustainability, circular economy, and carbon neutralization, fugitive emissions management, such as obtaining ISCC+ (International sustainable carbon certificate) certification for CISS products, LDAR, etc.
• Participating in environment / safety walkthrough, audit, training and so on.

Qualification Requirements (Education & Work Experience)
• Require a degree in Environmental Science/Engineering or Chemistry or equivalent: Bachelor plus 8 years’ experience or Masters plus 5 years’ experience;
• Certified Environmental Protection / EIA Engineer is preferred;
• Experience in Chemical Industry; knowledge of the plant processes and how they are associated;
• At least 3~5 years’ experience at comparable or related position;
• Expertise in chemical industry related affairs (environmental, safety and Industrial Hygiene) in the whole lifecycle regarding massive global & site operational projects;
• Strong coordination, organizational, interpersonal skills and team working spirit, willing to corporate with global colleagues;
• Knowledge and understanding of the national and local environmental regulations and standards; knowledge of applicable laws and regulation;
• Language: excellent English and Chinese skill both oral communication and writing.
