As our new part-time Finance Administrator, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing a variety of financial and administrative tasks to ensure our operations run smoothly and efficiently through inbox management, financial software and systems, and accounts management. This is an exciting opportunity to grow your skills in finance and accounting as our company grows, while contributing to a greater cause: the transition to renewable energy.
The role is part-time working 20-25 hours per week over 4-5 days, predominantly in our Perth CBD office to June 2027.

What you’ll do
• Deliver accounts payable and receivable functions, including energy market settlements, purchase order and invoice processing, ensuring timely payments in line with payment terms and regulations.
• Bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations.
• Manage day-to-day administration of bank accounts, credit card facility and petty cash.
• Assist the team with cyclical tax and accounting reporting and processes, including EOM and EOFY.
• Enforce financial management policies and good practices, and in lines with delegated authorities.
• Daily management of the Accounts enquiries inbox.
What we’re looking for
• Strong administration skills and experience, preferably in finance and/or accounting.
• Knowledge and interest in finance and accounting processes and requirements.
• Exemplary data management and accuracy, with high attention to detail.
• Strong computer and financial system proficiency, including Microsoft Suite, and MYOB, ExpenseMe preferred.
• Well organised, proactive and self-motivated, able to take ownership with minimal oversight.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Good written and verbal interpersonal and communication skills.
• Collaborative and dedicated team player.
• Ability to follow and independently refer to procedures and instructions provided.
• Ability to problem solve, knowing when to escalate/seek support.
The role may suit individuals who have obtained, or in the process of, obtaining relevant tertiary qualifications, such as a Bachelor of Accounting.
