Job Description Summary:
Supervising some of the junior staff of the department (1-2 people), the candidate will be responsible for the specific tasks in relation to project companies which Vector Renewables manages in Spain.
Job Description:
- Act as the main point of reference for specific clients under management, ensuring a high quality of service and meeting all requests from clients on a timely basis;
- Develop a good understanding of industry specific practices including Power Purchase Agreements, construction and operational processes, applying technology specific accounting practices
- Documentation management (physical and digital archive).
- Invoice processing and control of accounts payable
- Bookkeeping and transaction registry
- Preparation of monthly accounting closings
- Preparation of annual accounts
- Payment administration and bank accounts reconciliation
- Coordination with Tax Department in relation to compliance with the project companies’ tax obligations
- Support in the audit process of the project companies
- Preparation of financial reporting generated for Vector Renewables’ clients including main KPIs.
- Project Finance monitoring and management of the relationship with the project Lenders, including controlling of the deadlines of loans repayments.
- Budget preparation and monitoring
- Support in the updating of financial models
- Make distributions proposals and liquidity analysis
Key Requirements:
- Accounting, financial and tax knowledge of small and medium companies
- 4-5 years-experience
- SAGE knowledge is a must
- Qualified with experience in accounting for renewable assets is a must
- Previous experience at one of the Big Four is a plus
- Good communication skills
- Be able to meet deadlines under pressure scenarios
- Strong aptitude for math, attention to detail
- Ability to organize their work independently and as part of a team
- English Fluent
