Job Description Summary:
Nadara has recently set up a new function of Contract Management
which has responsibility for the Group’s energy agreements, both physical and virtual, for their duration.
The Contract Management function is part of the Revenue Governance team. It is involved in the negotiation phase and in the relationships with the counterparts during the contract life. The management of renewable energy certificates is part of the contract management.
To be successful with the above we are looking for a Energy Markets Certificates Specialist!
We are willing to attract a motivated person, who will become the focal point for managing the energy certificates (Guarantees of Origin, Renewables Energy Guarantees of Origin, Renewables Obligation Certificates) for the Group’s renewable assets in Italy, the UK and Spain. The candidate will be part of an international team.
We are looking for a team-oriented person with an eye for detail, who works with a high degree of accuracy and is confident using IT systems.
Job Description:
The Revenue Governance team is a newly-created team which will evolve over the coming two years. It is concerned with the structure and processes for revenue and includes three functions:
Revenue Asset Governance, Contract Management and Compliance
Contract Management covers many aspects related to the economic and financial flows of the contract and for this reason it is included within the Revenue Governance area. The Energy Markets Certificates Specialist will work within Contract Management with a focus on green certificates management.
Main Responsibilities:
The Energy Market Certificates Specialist will work in one of the major producers of renewable energy. She/he will contribute to promoting the best practice in management for the certificates from the renewable assets:
Renewable energy certificates submissions: managing the correct submission of environmental certificates for the renewable assets (both the initial submission and any required updates)
Renewable energy certificates Transfer: facilitating the trading and transfer of certificates between parties.
Compliance and Audit Management for the renewable energy certificates: Handling audits with the other departments of the company. This would involve responding to the Authority requests, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and managing any necessary updates to submissions.
Portal Maintenance: Managing all interactions with Authority’s online platforms, including the Renewable and CHP Register, ensuring timely submissions and updates.
Work with the Regulatory Department monitoring updates related to the renewable energy certificates;
Work closely with the Revenue Governance team to develop the IT system dedicated to the revenues from renewable energy certificates.
Required skills & experience:
The Energy Market Certificates Specialist will be a team-oriented person who has experience of managing contracts. They will have an eye for detail, working with a high degree of accuracy to strict deadlines. Confidence using IT systems is a plus to help the team in the development of a system dedicated to the area. The individual should be fluent in English and Italian.
This role can be based in Madrid, Lisbon or in the UK (Edinburgh/London).
