Solar Solutions Engineer to lead the charge, bringing their expertise and passion to our growing projects.
What you'll do:
- Design & Engineer: Develop comprehensive solar PV system designs, including single-line diagrams, AC/DC calculations, equipment specifications, and performance modeling, ensuring optimal efficiency and reliability.
- Technical Leadership: Provide expert technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle, from initial feasibility studies and site assessments to commissioning and handover.
- Project Management Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, installers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution, adhering to timelines and budgets.
- Problem Solving & Innovation: Identify and resolve complex technical challenges, staying abreast of the latest advancements in solar technology and driving continuous improvement.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all designs and installations comply with relevant industry standards, codes, and safety regulations.
- Client Consultation: Provide technical expertise and support to clients, building strong relationships and ensuring their satisfaction.
What you'll bring:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (Essential).
- 5+ years of proven experience in the renewable energy sector, specifically with solar PV systems.
- Strong understanding of solar PV system design, installation, and commissioning.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software for solar design and simulation (e.g., PVsyst, AutoCAD, Helioscope).
- Excellent knowledge of electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEC).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for sustainability and renewable energy.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Driver's license and the ability to travel to project sites.
