About The Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to manage and enhance our financial operations. This role will play a pivotal part in advancing Foresight’s objectives by ensuring accurate financial reporting, optimizing processes, and supporting strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in financial analysis, budgeting, and compliance, with exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities:
Day-to-Day Activities: will include and are not limited to the following: processing accounts payable and receivable, preparing journal entries, assisting with month-end close procedures, reconciling bank and general ledger accounts, and generating financial reports.
Accounts Management: lead the accounts payable, and receivable processes in order to maintain timely and accurate general ledger accounts.
Financial Reporting and Month-End Close: support the maintenance of the general ledger accounts, journal entries and reconciliations. Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year end financial close processes. Prepare accurate financial statements and reports to support decision-making and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
Budgeting and Forecasting: support the development and maintenance of our annual budget and provide financial insights and forecasts to guide strategic planning.
Compliance and Audits: Adhere to financial regulations to support the preparation of tax filings and coordinate internal and external audits.
Project Management: As the incumbent grows in the role, there is an opportunity to develop project management skills by advising on contracts, supporting full-cycle project management alongside project managers, and ensuring financial workflows align with key deliverables. This includes tracking project milestones, coordinating financial reporting, and enhancing collaboration between finance and project teams.

Experience We’re Looking For:
Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial management roles, with a strong understanding of general accounting principles.
Proven ability to prepare accurate financial statements and reports, including month-end and year-end closings.
Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and analyzing financial data to support strategic decision-making.
Familiarity with managing audits and ensuring compliance with tax regulations and accounting standards.
Proficiency with accounting software (e.g Quickbooks, Xero) and advanced Google Sheets skills, including pivot tables and complex formulas.
CPA designation is beneficial but not mandatory.
