Hiring: Installation Electrician (3-Phase) – Solar Industry
Location: Cape Town | Employment Type: Full-Time
Are you a skilled Installation Electrician with experience in the solar industry? Hire Resolve is looking for a certified professional to handle electrical work for solar energy systems for our client in Cape Town. This role involves conducting inspections, issuing Certificates of Compliance (COC), and ensuring all installations meet regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform hands-on inspections of solar electrical installations and issue COCs when compliant.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues on-site.
- Provide feedback to the Project Manager regarding on-site challenges and suggest solutions.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to schedule follow-up visits for unresolved issues.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with industry regulations and safety standards.
- Maintain detailed documentation of inspections and work performed.
- Assist installation teams with troubleshooting and providing guidance when needed.
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid Wireman’s License
- Registered as an Electrical Contractor with the Department of Labour
- Experience with solar PV systems and 3-phase electrical installations
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work independently
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure
- Effective communication and reporting skills
- Valid driver’s license
