Job Description Summary
The Site Security and Facility Operations leader role would be responsible for ensuring smooth functioning of site facilities and security requirements for all Vernova businesses at JFWTC. This role would play a key role and support site operations leader in smooth functioning of site processes. This role would support initiatives to improve the effectiveness of the site facilities, ensure strong compliance to security policies and interfaces with other functions to provide effective coordination of metrics, functional processes, and cross-functional initiative coordination. They would own the crisis readiness for the site, effectively collaborate with regional security leadership, facilities team at JFWTC and internal functional teams. The role has some autonomy and would be focused ensuring site safety and facility related processes are robust and well executed.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- In collaboration with business functions and operations leader, define and operationalize processes for site security and facility related focus areas.
- Lead and extend support to Vernona teams during internal/external emergencies and other areas of Site Crisis Management program. Coordinate with facilities team for activation of Vernova processes during emergencies.
- Support Vernova teams for security incidents pertaining to Vernova employees & contractors at the site including collaboration with Violence Threat Response Team.
- Report security incidents pertaining to the Vernova Businesses in security incident reporting system and investigate security concerns & incidents pertaining to Vernova employees, contractors, and company property at the site.
- Coordinate security and facility requirements related to employee engagement and business events held by Vernova teams at JFWTC.
- Support operations team in Process and metrics tracking related to facility operations. Responsible for daily management of facility and security related metrics.
- Work with external vendors on employee and business events, POs coordination for facilities related spends including employee engagement activities.
- Coordinate with communications team for internal communications and ensure leadership is updated on any security and facility related issues.
- Coordinate from an admin & facilities point of view for all JF Vernova common initiatives.
- Support in TSAs and IFM Co-ordination with Facilities team in regular maintenance of the site, managing of processes and establish operating rhythm.
- Ensure invoices from relevant vendors are checked & approved and sent on to finance for payment for facilities related expenditures.
- Support seating movements & coordination with Vernova businesses.
- Extend support for coordination and management of key activities driven by site leader.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in the Engineering/Technology & Operations.
- Experience with indirect sourcing processes, site operations and familiarity with internal vendor management processes.
- Bachelor's degree or Equivalent from an accredited university or college
- Proven record of managing multiple stakeholders and prior experience of managing with facility/security related processes
