Responsibilities:
· Generate and qualify leads for solar EPC projects, targeting commercial, industrial, or utility-scale clients (depending on company focus).
· Conduct site visits to assess project feasibility, understand customer needs, and propose optimal solar PV solutions.
· Develop and present technical and commercial proposals, outlining project scope, timelines, costs, and financing options.
· Negotiate contracts with clients to secure profitable sales agreements.
· Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure proposed solutions meet technical requirements and budget constraints.
· Partner with internal departments like procurement and construction to showcase the company's EPC capabilities.
· Maintain and build relationships with existing and potential clients to foster long-term partnerships.
· Track industry trends, competitor offerings, and identify new business opportunities in the solar EPC market.
Contribute to developing and implementing effective sales strategies for the solar EPC division.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (e.g., renewable energy).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, preferably in the solar energy industry or a related technical field (e.g., construction, building materials).
- Strong understanding of solar PV technology, EPC project lifecycles, and the competitive landscape.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in sales tools and software (e.g., CRM) is a plus.
- Ability to travel for client meetings and site visits (as needed).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in selling solar EPC services to commercial, industrial, or utility-scale clients.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
- Working knowledge of solar project financing options.
Understanding of relevant building codes and permitting processes for solar installations
