Lead problem solving regarding internal and external customer concerns, utilizing tools like 8D, Kaizen, Six Sigma, all driving to understand root cause.
· Implementing corrective and preventative actions and driving continuous quality improvement
· Lead review, development, and implementation of PFMEA, process control plans,
· Identify SPC, Jidoka, and Poka-yoke opportunities
· Responsible for implementing and sustaining Lean and Six Sigma concepts, interfacing with cross-functional teams and other departments
· Support the manufacturing lines, ensuring all specifications are assured, and proactively looking to increase efficiency
· Training and development of production teams
· Responsible for monitoring and reporting key metrics and developing improvement plan
· Lead and complete internal audits, ensure all ISO Standard rules and regulations are enforced. ISO 9001, ISO 18001, ISO 45001, & ISO 50001
· Interface with other plants regarding product concerns, responsible for investigations, follow-up, and ultimate customer satisfaction
· Interface heavily with hourly and salaried manufacturing support personnel, external corporate engineering, quality, and supplier quality resources.
· Support new product introductions, supplier development activities relating to manufactured components, and is a key contributor to those overall successes
· Benchmark with other Schneider entities, align, and deploy projects to utilize digital technology in the process robustness
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Industrial engineering, or relevant 4-year degree required
· 2 + years of experience with manufacturing quality, manufacturing engineering, or equivalent
· Experience with Lean Manufacturing and 6 Sigma tools, 5S, 8D, Kaizen events, 5 Whys, DMAIC, PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Flow, Process Auditing, Process Capability analysis, ISO, Poka-Yoke, Jidoka design desired
· Application of Lean and Six Sigma techniques, statistical methods, certification highly desired
· Excellent problem-solving skills
· Ability to interpret and understand technical drawings
· Working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, & ISO 50001standards. Internal Auditor experience is a plus.
· Strong team player with the ability to work within cross-functional teams.
· Have excellent MS Office and MRP System skills.
· Mechanical aptitude highly desired.
· Has an analytical mindset.
· Experience in calibration test equipment, product testing and/or functional testing is a plus.
· Ability to communicate clearly in English, both verbal and written.
