The North American Labs Organization focuses on the testing of North American and global product offerings for new development validation/verification, and product line engineering support. This role will allow for collaboration with Agile teams including continuous engineering, manufacturing, quality and product safety on test planning and execution.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provides outstanding service for internal and external customers, serving as the main contact for project coordination and lab product testing
- Assists with development and implementation of comprehensive test plans, based on product requirements and use cases
- Collaborates with project teams and Test Engineers/Test Technicians
- Prepares comprehensive and professional test reports when required
- Maintains familiarity of industry standards and and test methods
- Creates requests for lab resources (people, lab, and equipment)
- Creates project test requests using Lab Information Management System (LiMS)
- Collects and prepares test samples
- Collects, prepares and analyzes test data
- Represents the lab team during certification/qualification planning activities
Qualifications
- Product knowledge and test experience
- Knowledge of test standards (e.g. ANSI, IEC, CSA and UL)
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical concepts and terminology
- Computer skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
- Independent and self-managing
- Project management skills (planning, scheduling, leadership, etc.)
- Professional, reliable, assertive, and consistent
- Great documentation and communication skills
- Comfortable working in a team environment
- AGILE methodology preferred
