The Work You Will Do:
This position will be responsible for providing technical engineering support in assisting with the implementation of laws, regulations and policies of the Environmental Resource Permitting (ERP); National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Stormwater.

Your Specific Responsibilities:
As directed, provide engineering technical assistance to the Department’s Regulatory District Offices and the Water Management Districts in the review of dam safety and mining and mitigation and stormwater ERP applications.
Assist in analyzing and interpreting engineering data, performs engineering calculations and develops and uses hydrologic, hydraulic and hydrographic models for technical evaluation of data related to stormwater treatment.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of hydrologic, hydraulic and stormwater engineering principles;
- Knowledge of biological, chemical and physical processes as they relate to water quality and the aquatic environment;
- Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing and to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others;
Required or Preferred Qualifications:
- Required: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and one year of verifiable related experience.

- Valid Driver’s License
