The Office of Resilience and Coastal Protection (ORCP) is looking to fill a full-time Government Analyst II that will assist the Beach Management Funding Assistance (BMFA) Administrator with legislative reporting, lead grant management activities, and develop efficiencies in programmatic workflow.

In carrying out the duties of this position, the incumbent is expected at all times to be aware of and abide by the Department’s Standards of Conduct, as well as all departmental and/or work unit rules, directives, policies, procedures, and/or general orders applicable to performing the duties of this position.
The position also coordinates with the other sections and program areas of the Department in pursuit of the overall mission to preserve, restore and protect the beach and coastal systems of Florida.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Skilled in methods of collecting, compiling, organizing, and analyzing data
- Ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of administrative and project management principles and practices
- Skilled in the use of current personal computers and applications, particularly the entire Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to consistently demonstrate positive and effective teamwork
- Ability to exercise sound independent judgement and utilize problem-solving techniques
- Knowledge of terminology, techniques and principles of coastal management and environmental restoration
Minimum Qualifications:
- A 4-year degree from an accredited college or university and three years of related professional experience or any combination of post-secondary education or verifiable related experience, as described in this posting, for a total of seven years
- A valid driver license.
- Ability to travel
