Staff Engineer - Environmental / Civil Engineer

Job Description:
This role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, offering opportunities to engage in diverse tasks such as permitting, civil design and layout, supporting field activities for soil and water sampling, and overseeing construction and reclamation efforts. Success in this position will require leveraging both civil and environmental engineering expertise. You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including geotechnical, civil, mechanical, electrical, and chemical engineers, to meet client expectations and project goals. Requirements:
- B.S. in Environmental or Civil Engineering
- 3-7 years of experience; permitting, site reclamation, and field investigation
- P.E. license in Colorado or actively working toward a P.E. license
- 40-hour HAZWOPPER certification, a plus
Experience in the following areas is desired:
- Engineering design, including but not limited to grading, drainage, and site layout for reclamation
- Environmental sampling plan design and execution
- Stormwater permitting and management
- Construction management and oversight
- Cost estimating
- Preparation of procurement and construction specifications
- Scheduling and subcontractor management
- Ability to work independently and productively with minimal supervision
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external organizations, groups, team members, and individuals
