Our client, a leading Solar Energies company<\/b> based in Johannesburg<\/b>, is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO)<\/b> to join their executive team. This is a key leadership role that will drive the
company’s financial strategy, ensuring long -term profitability and
sustainability while supporting its growth in the renewable energy sector.

Basic Duties:<\/b>
<\/p>
Develop and implement
financial strategies to support the company's growth and objectives.<\/span>
<\/li>Oversee all financial
operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and
cash flow management.<\/span>
<\/li>Lead financial planning
and analysis, providing insight and recommendations to senior leadership.<\/span>
<\/li>Ensure compliance with
all regulatory requirements, tax laws, and accounting standards.<\/span>
<\/li>Manage the company’s
financial risks and investments.<\/span>
<\/li>Supervise and mentor the
finance team to ensure high levels of performance.<\/span>
<\/li>Coordinate and lead
audits and liaise with external auditors, investors, and other
stakeholders.<\/span>
<\/li>Play a key role in
strategic decision -making by providing financial insights to support
business growth.<\/span>
<\/li><\/ul>Requirements:<\/b>
<\/p>
Bachelor’s degree in
Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA is a
plus).<\/span>
<\/li>Professional
qualifications such as CA(SA), ACCA, or CIMA<\/b> preferred.<\/span>
<\/li>10+ years of financial
experience<\/span><\/b>,
with a proven track record in senior finance roles, preferably in the renewable
energy, energy, or infrastructure sectors<\/b>.<\/span>
<\/li>Strong understanding of
financial modeling, risk management, and corporate finance.<\/span>
<\/li>Knowledge of South
African financial regulations<\/b> and tax laws.<\/span>
<\/li>Proven leadership skills
and the ability to drive change and influence at the executive level.<\/span>
<\/li>Exceptional
communication, analytical, and problem -solving skills.<\/span>
<\/li>Strong proficiency in
financial software and advanced MS Excel skills.<\/span>
