Our client, a leader in the Solar PV industry<\/b>, is
seeking an experienced Projects Development Expert<\/b> with a strong
background in investment<\/b> and project delivery<\/b>. This role, open to
locations across Africa<\/b>, will oversee the entire project lifecycle, from
feasibility through to project closeout and handover.

Basic Duties:<\/b>
<\/p>
Lead the development of
Solar PV projects from concept to completion, ensuring on -time delivery
and within budget.<\/span>
<\/li>Conduct project
feasibility studies, including technical, financial, and regulatory
assessments.<\/span>
<\/li>Oversee investment
analysis, financial modeling, and securing funding for projects.<\/span>
<\/li>Manage stakeholder
relationships, including investors, contractors, regulatory bodies, and
local communities.<\/span>
<\/li>Coordinate project
planning, procurement, and execution phases, ensuring compliance with
industry standards.<\/span>
<\/li>Monitor project
progress, risks, and deliverables, ensuring milestones are met.<\/span>
<\/li>Lead project closeout
activities, including testing, commissioning, and handover to operations
teams.<\/span>
<\/li>Ensure compliance with
environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles throughout the
project lifecycle.<\/span>
<\/li><\/ul>Requirements:<\/b>
<\/p>
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering,
Renewable Energy, Project Management, or Finance<\/b> (Master’s degree is a
plus).<\/span>
<\/li>Minimum of 8 -10 years<\/b> experience in Solar PV project development, with a proven track record of
delivering projects across Africa.<\/span>
<\/li>Strong knowledge of
investment analysis, financial structuring, and project financing for
renewable energy projects.<\/span>
<\/li>Experience managing the
full project lifecycle, from feasibility studies to project handover.<\/span>
<\/li>Solid understanding of
regulatory frameworks and permitting processes in African markets.<\/span>
<\/li>Proficiency in project
management tools and software.<\/span>
<\/li>Exceptional leadership,
analytical, and stakeholder management skills.<\/span>
<\/li>Willingness to travel
extensively across Africa as required.<\/span>
