Copper Quail Global<\/b> is recruiting a Landowner Engagement Manager<\/b> for a leading Renewable Energy Independent Power Producer (IPP) with a growing portfolio of wind and solar assets across South Africa.
<\/p>
Role Purpose
<\/h3>
The Landowner Engagement Manager will be responsible for managing long -term relationships with landowners hosting renewable energy projects, from construction through to operations. The role focuses on proactive stakeholder engagement, risk mitigation, and grievance management to ensure sustainable, compliant, and conflict -free landowner relationships.

Key Responsibilities
<\/h3>
<\/p>
• Act as primary point of contact for landowners across project sites
<\/div>
• Manage landowner relationships from construction into operations
<\/div>
• Develop and implement landowner stakeholder engagement plans (SEPs)
<\/div>
• Identify and mitigate landowner -related risks and issues
<\/div>
• Facilitate regular landowner meetings and site engagements
<\/div>
• Oversee grievance mechanisms and ensure timeous close -out
<\/div>
• Support project and operations teams in resolving landowner matters
<\/div>
• Maintain accurate stakeholder records, reports, and meeting minutes
<\/div>
• Coordinate with community and stakeholder relations teams
<\/div>
<\/p>
Minimum Requirements
<\/h3>
<\/p>
• Degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Business Administration, Town Planning or related
<\/div>
• 3–5 years’ experience in landowner or stakeholder engagement (renewable energy preferred)
<\/div>
• Strong negotiation, communication, and conflict -resolution skills
<\/div>
• Understanding of renewable energy projects and construction environments
<\/div>
• Ability to travel regularly to project sites
<\/div>
